With smoke in the Sanctuary, our Sunday October 16th worship was moved to the Fireside Lounge. It was a change, unexpected, but everyone had a wonderful attitude. Denney Premkumar did a wonderful job leading us in worship, John Granato stepped up and did a fantastic job with our sound, and Erin Cruz, our Director of Administration and Faculties, directed fire, police, congregation and everything with a cool head and focused leadership! The Holy Spirit was present and felt among us all with power and love. We even had new people join us for this new worship experience! Together we all worshipped God in Spirit and Truth.

Worship is our corporate and personal exchange with God. It is a spontaneous expression and ritual moment that transcends personal preference and all stereotype. Worship at ACC is a reorienting of our lives that reminds us that God is God, and we are not. As a multigenerational and multiethnic community, we enjoy the integration of many traditions in corporate worship. We value being together and worshiping God through the reading and teaching of the Bible, lifting our voices together with songs from all generations and joining together in the ancient practice of holy communion. Together we experience a living, vibrant, powerful and loving God who makes his presence known in the gathering of his people.
