Get ready for a day of fall fun at our annual Harvest Festival! This year's theme is CARNIVAL. Join us for a fun family time! Interns will gain knowledge working with the Director of Family Ministries, as well as assisting with the overall functionality of the church. Prayer Meeting

We give thanks for the quick response and excellent work of the Arcadia Fire Department! On Sunday October 16, 2022 the bearings on one of the motors on our Sanctuary AC/HV froze and created a cloud of smoke. The Arcadia Fire Department responded and with kindness and professionalism found the source and fanned out the building. No fire, but worship was moved to the Fireside Lounge to be on the safe side. We are keeping the Firefighters of Arcadia Fire Department in our prayers and giving thanks!

Holy Smokes thanks AFD!

With smoke in the Sanctuary, our Sunday October 16th worship was moved to the Fireside Lounge. It was a change, unexpected, but everyone had a wonderful attitude. Denney Premkumar did a wonderful job leading us in worship, John Granato stepped up and did a fantastic job with our sound, and Erin Cruz, our Director of Administration and Faculties, directed fire, police, congregation and everything with a cool head and focused leadership! The Holy Spirit was present and felt among us all with power and love. We even had new people join us for this new worship experience! Together we all worshipped God in Spirit and Truth.

The purpose of the Arcadia Community Church Preschool is to create a loving, safe preschool program for the young children of families from the congregation and our community. We offer planned experiences to meet children's mental, emotional, social, physical and spiritual needs, and to enhance their development in these areas. This developmental, play-based program is presented with a biblical worldview and a Christ-like spirit of love and caring. Our staff members have professional training in Early Childhood Education, CPR and First Aid training. They have been selected because of their understanding and sensitivity to young children, their love for Christ, and their desire to share His love with others.

Arcadia Community Church is now an enrolled congregation of Stephen Ministry international. This ministry, which encompasses congregations of all denominations and has trained Stephen Ministers for 40 years, will begin January 10 when three Arcadia church members , as well as Pastor Larry Ballenger, will begin the Bridge Leaders training of Stephen Ministry with a ten week, hybrid class session which will launch Stephen Ministry at our church. Stephen Ministers are congregation members equipped and commissioned for caring ministry. They come from many different backgrounds, ages and walks of life, but all have one important thing in common: a heart for bringing Christ's healing love to hurting people.It is anticipated that we will begin recruiting and training our Stephen Ministers at Arcadia Community Church in the spring of 2023, when our Stephen Leaders have completed their Bridge Leaders training, For more information contact Pastor Larry at 626-807-0286

The Arcadia People for Christ Foundation (Foundation) was established by Arcadia Community Church (Church) 40 years ago to support the work of the Church.&nbsp;The Foundation is managed by an independent Board of Directors which is responsible for the investment and administration of the Foundation funds. Pastor John and Kimberley attended the Agape Evangelical Church's 17th Anniversary on Saturday November 5th. Agape Evangelical Church is an Indonesian nesting church with Arcade Community Church and meets in our Fellowship Hall each Sunday. Pastor John and Kimberley brought greetings from ACC and shared with them a blessing and prayer while enjoying their wonderful fellowship, entertainment and meal.

Agape Church's 17th Anniversary

Pastor John and Kimberley attended the 40th Anniversary Worship Service of International Theological Seminary (ITS) on Sunday November 6th. ITS is a seminary dedicated to training and equipping foreign students and pastors for ministry. Many of the ITS students have attended and been supported by the Mission Ministry Team at ACC. Pastor John is working with Dr. James Lee, Seminary President, in creating a partnership for an educational field work program between ACC and ITS. Look for more information about this new program in the new year.

ITS 40th Anniversay

Worship is our corporate and personal exchange with God. It is a spontaneous expression and ritual moment that transcends personal preference and all stereotype. Worship at ACC is a reorienting of our lives that reminds us that God is God, and we are not. As a multigenerational and multiethnic community, we enjoy the integration of many traditions in corporate worship. We value being together and worshiping God through the reading and teaching of the Bible, lifting our voices together with songs from all generations and joining together in the ancient practice of holy communion. Together we experience a living, vibrant, powerful and loving God who makes his presence known in the gathering of his people.

Celebrate Christmas Eve with us on Saturday, December 24th with fun Children's Activities followed by a Christmas Eve Candle Light service. The fun begins at 2:00 p.m. with camel rides and Christmas crafts the whole family will enjoy. After you sample some of the Christmas goodies, head over to the photo booth and create a silly Christmas family photo you will enjoy for years.
