Arcadia Community Church is a multi-generational, multi-ethnic group of Christ followers who have joined together on a journey with Jesus, growing in faith, sharing our faith with others, reaching people who don’t have a relationship with God, and blessing our communities and world through our transformed lives.

We are rebuilding the oldest church in Arcadia through a God-sized vision to be accomplished by prayerfully seeking God, and partnering with Him as pioneers, learning, and innovating as we develop and launch new ministries, and touch lives through the San Gabriel Valley and throughout the world.

Sunday Service Time

Blended Service Every Sunday Morning at 10:30 a.m. which is also live streamed on YouTube.

Sunday School is also provided for Children, Youth, Young Adults, Middle Aged and Older Adults.

Pastor John is our new Senior Pastor! John grew up in the Philippines, spent time in the Hawaiian Islands, and attended school in Michigan. John was ordinated in the Reformed Church in America in 1988. His first church was a new church start, Community Life Reformed Church, in Denver, Colorado. Later he served Community Reformed Church in Freeport, Illinois. In 1996, he moved to California and worked in Marketing and Public Relations before becoming an Assistant Professor of Religion and Humanities at Grossmont College. In 2017, he became the Pastor of Education and Discipleship at RB Community Church in San Diego. In October 2021, Pastor John was called to Arcadia Community Church. He is married to Kimberley and together they have five children.

Larry Ballenger is Parish Associate of Visitation and Care. He was our Interim Pastor from 2019 through 2021, and youth pastor, 1974-1978. He has been in ministry for 60+ years. Larry and Judy live at Monte Vista Grove Homes in Pasadena, and they began attending Arcadia church in 1970, when Judy was accompanist for the children's choirs. Larry was ordained a Presbyterian pastor at Arcadia church in 1977. His present ministry includes connecting with shut-ins, seniors, and working closely with the Deacons, and he loves being invited to visit in the homes of the congregation!

Our Staff

Adam was born in Seoul, South Korea, and grew up in West Liberty, Ohio. He has followed Christ from a young age. At Indiana University, Adam studied classical and jazz music. He worked in the music industry for twenty years as a songwriter, band member, and touring musician. He is skilled in guitar, piano, bass, drums, and violin.

Billie joined the staff in 2013. She was raised in Covina. She helped her parents, Fred and Willie Jordan, in ministry on Skid Row until 2001. After, she worked at Sonrise Christian and Head Start. She married her husband, Jim in 1981; also a PK. They have two children and one daughter-in-law. Billie’s father always said: Billie NEVER met a stranger!

Randy Figueroa is our Director of Family Ministries. Randy is a Southern California native and has served in vocational ministry for over 19 years. He and his wife, Rachel have a family podcast available on YouTube, and co-written books and family resources. Randy, and Rachel have been married for 20 years and have three children and are passionate about family ministry.

Erin has been serving with our church for over 10 years. She has a degree in Business Management and Marketing. Erin loves to spend her time listening to music, road tripping, cooking, and buying tons of books but never catching up on reading them.

Andrew has been the custodian at Arcadia Community Church since January 2018. He was a Facilities Coordinator at World Vision for 10 years before joining the church. He graduated from College of Art in Jakarta, Indonesia with a major in Theater. Beyond taking great care of our church campus, Andrew loves to cook, travel to explore new and exotic foods, spend time at the beach, garden, and take photos.
